NBC Sports’ direct-to-consumer product has grown from one cycling pass in 2016 to seventeen today. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a number of NBC Sports Gold projects including a design system, style guides, landing pages, emails, and more. I was the lead designer on the team that launched the PGA Tour Live, Premier League, IndyCar, Premier League Lacrosse, Pub Pass, Supercross, and Snow.

PRODUCT DESIGNER
DESIGN SYSTEM + GLOBAL STYLE GUIDES
Zeplin is used to maintain a design system for NBC Sports Gold. This includes a color palette, text styles, logos, icons, backgrounds, buttons, labels, cards, and more. Designing this system of reusable components and guidelines helped our product team build pages much faster with the introduction of new sports passes.
This is an example of a pricing style-guide with the various locations of the offerings—displaying a single price point, multiple options, price drops, sales, and more.
LANDING PAGES
I’ve had the opportunity to design and develop a majority of the NBC Sports Gold landing pages. Each landing page uses the design system to maintain a consistent look throughout, but there’s still an opportunity to pick up on specific brand treatments and styles or display additional offerings for each pass.
The PGA TOUR LIVE landing page changes to a carousel of featured golfers during tournaments. This was a view to entice the consumer behind the paywall experience. I worked with an engineer who was able to extend my front-end code and make this switch happen dynamically once the data’s available.
