PASSION PROJECT
Pa Nha Pove, Cabo Verde

I believe designers have the responsibility to do good, and not just good design. I’ve used my skillset to create a brand named Pa Nha Pove, "for my people" that uses design to address problems within the community, and give back to the people of my homeland, Cape Verde. It’s been an ongoing process with small steps, but has set a goal to expand. It’s been my most impressive work to date. Projects include designing a custom typeface, brand identity and promotional items, but mostly apparel based. One of my favorite project's was a soccer fundraiser released during the World Cup where I designed and developed landing pages to create personalized jerseys. I used my time to handcraft every PNP item in-home for the personal touch and quality.
